WHAT
IS A GICLEE ART PRINT?
The original
art work is digitally scanned and then printed in the most
archival water-based organic inks available (65+ years) on a state-of-the-art
Iris inkjet printer. Watercolor paper or cotton duck canvas is
attached to the Iris drum that sprays ink onto the surface at more
than 4 million drops per second. The
result is a museum quality print with tremendous resolution!
Giclee prints are displayed at major museums throughout the
world including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British
Museum.

Coming In E005
giclee of painting
A baby elephant hurries
to keep up with its family herd as they rush to water. Youngsters
are expected to stay close and keep the pace. But if one is lost
or knocked about in the tumult, the
mother and aunties will stop to help. Seldom is a young one one
ever hurt in the headlong rush. Addo Elephant N.P., South Africa

"Leaving Now"
E006 giclee of painting
A weary young elephant
is led away from Hapoor waterhole by its mother and aunt. It
is time for the adults to feed in the spekboom, or scrub, but this
tiny calf is too young (under 4
months of age) to eat solid food. All he really wants to do is lay
down and enjoy a solid sleep. Addo Elephant N.P., South
Africa.

Protection E003
giclee of painting
A tiny elephant
inquisitively peers out from under its mothers bristly tail,
while an auntie stands watch nearby. A newborn calf has poor
vision, which makes it extremely vulnerable in the forest of
massive elephant legs. If the baby strays from its mothers
side, its auntie will will follow it and usher it back to its
mother. Addo
